ABOUT AMY DICKINSON CAMPBELL

Since Amy was a female, she was already in the minority when she joined the United States Navy. As one of the first women on a warship (USS WASP), all eyes were definitely on her at all times. The guys on the ship didn’t know how to act around her, so they watched her to see how it was going to go onboard the ship.

Using humor, anecdotes and plenty of life experiences, she encourages her audience, while entertaining and motivating them, to look beyond fear and doubt, to see opportunity and feel confidence. Be prepared to be amazed at her inspirational personal stories of pain, joy, laughter and outright embarassment while she trains the audience on how to stand tall, even when everything in you wants to shrink away and not be seen.

Psychology major at Southern New Hampshire University. She advocates for fellow veterans, children, infirmed, animals and trees. Amy is also a mother of five, wife to a combat Marine veteran, unapologetic animal lover, and comedic, motivational speaker.

She currently lives in Tennessee with her husband and children, three cats, one dog, four chickens, one turtle and several aggressive lightning bugs.
